What to Expect
What should I wear?
Some men wear suits. Some ladies where dresses. But many wear business casual attire and even jeans. Come in what makes you comfortable to worship Jesus. Just be modest.
What does a typical worship service entail?
We usually sing a modern song and an older hymn. Church leaders lead in multiple corporate prayers. Members share prayer concerns and praises with one another. Everyone is asked to stand for the reading of the Bible. But the sermon which teaches God’s Word is the main feature of Sunday morning worship.
How long does your Sunday worship service last?
It varies from week to week, but usually we are concluding no later than 12:20. K-4th graders are offered Children’s Church during the sermon in a separate classroom on the 1st, 3rd, and 4th Sundays of the month.
Is childcare provided?
A nursery for newborns through pre-k is provide during both Sunday School and the worship service on Sunday mornings.
I am not a Christian. Can I still visit?
You are especially welcome to visit so long as you do not seek to hinder others from worship. Church members and leaders will be more than willing to answer your questions and offer you some coffee! We hope that if you are uncomfortable in any way, that it is because of the teaching of the Bible, not our personalities or lack of hospitality.
Where should I park?
Parking is provided both in the immediate area around the church building and in an auxiliary lot located across from Mt. Harmony Road.
A Few Fun Facts
Sunday Luncheons
All attenders, including guests are welcome to attend our Sunday luncheons immediately after the worship service on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month. We eat in the Fellowship Hall which is across the parking lot from the main building.
Coffee Welcome Area
When you walk in the front door, hop over to the Coffee Bar to enjoy a cup of coffee, water, and snacks. Please also take time to look at our free Christian resources such as devotionals for men and women.
